Cranberry Breakfast Smoothie
Who says cranberries are just for cranberry sauce and muffins? Adding the yogurt, hemp seeds, and rolled oats gives this smoothie plenty of protein and fiber to keep you full and satisfied. Enjoy!
Note: Cranberries are naturally tart — if you want it a bit sweeter, add a little extra honey or use vanilla yogurt instead. You could also increase the protein by using skim or 1% dairy milk.
INGREDIENTS
1 banana
2/3 cup regular rolled oats
3/4 cup frozen cranberries
3/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons hemp seeds
1 teaspoon honey
3/4 cup toasted coconut almond milk
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender with a handful of ice and blend until smooth. Serves 2.
