Cherry Chia Seed Jam
This jam is seriously delicious. It makes a great topping for oatmeal, peanut butter toast, yogurt, pancakes, French toast, or pretty much anything you can think to put it on!
Plus it’s full of fiber and omega 3s, which are jam-packed with health benefits.
Best of all…it takes less than 5 minutes to throw together. I’m going to try it with blueberries next!
Ingredients:
1.5 cups frozen dark cherries
1 T chia seeds
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon honey
Dash of cinnamon
Directions:
Heat the cherries (in the microwave or on the stovetop) until hot. Mash them with a fork and throw in all of the other ingredients. Stir it up well, cover with a tight-fitting lid and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, it will be ready to spoon onto whatever you feel like eating it with.
