PEACHY OATS BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

Looking for a delicious and easy breakfast or snack? This Peachy Oats Breakfast Smoothie is my new favorite thing to keep you full until lunchtime. Better still, the hemp seeds and almond butter give you plenty of protein, the oats add soluble fiber (which has been shown to help lower cholesterol and is an excellent weight management tool) and the turmeric can help fight inflammation. Plus, you get all the vitamins and minerals in the peaches, bananas, and other whole foods. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

1 banana
1 peach (or 1/2 cup frozen peaches)
1/2 cup regular rolled oats
1/2 tablespoon hemp seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon almond butter
1/2 teaspoon honey

3/4-1 cup of milk

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender with a handful of ice and blend until smooth. (Add more ice if you prefer a thicker consistency). Serves 2.
